oh sweet tongue in cheek
but still a bit of sadness.. actually, i never thought about it till now, but kind of reminds me of door's last album ... over layer of vocals.. sorta drowsy, and sad. just a thought.

African influence really in evidence here. I read once that Bill was listening to..I think- Polynesian music when he wrote "Ain't No Sunshine" He likes contraponal melodies. I hope I spelled that correctly. If not, please don't bother to correct, I will go and look it up:)
