HMAS Melbourne VS Indonesia & Vietnam In E-TIMOR 1979 pt2

It's The summer of 1979 in East-Timor and the newly elected democratic goverment in Dili has been overthrown by indonesian
opposition rebels, but now indonesia has invaded along with Vietnam her new ally in the region. Ships from the indonesian
and Vietnamese navy are now dlocading the entire insland of Timor. The Government of Austrailia has dispatched a hopsitol ship along with HMAS Kanimbla
to the aid the refugees in Viqueque. But the Aussie flotilla has come under attack from the viet-indo's forces.
Little does Jakarta know that HMAS Melbourne is hang'in around with 12 A-4 Skyhawks and 4 trackers, along with aircraft of the RAAF, I feel a serious Aussie ass-whoop'in comming.

I like strategy game...

But I think it is impossible for Vietnam to aid Indonesia. Why they wanna help anyway PLUS their crafts are much more inferior than Indonesian ships...

Easy HwkEy, the game is called Fleet Command and this is a hypothetical engagement set in 1979, just a big "what If" Vietnamese aircraft and some patrol baots are aiding the're Indoniesian alies in East Timor.

if really Aussie want a big fight with Indonesia back in 1979, I doubt they even dare. Indonesian military was the strongest in the southern hemisphere at that time. Am not boasting, just check the historical facts or simply read wikipedia.

whoever made this game surely dont know the story behind East Timor invasion by Indonesia. It was US and Aussie themselves who asked Indonesia to invade, over the fear of communist uprising in East Timor through the Communist Party (Apoedeti whatever the name). And invasion was done before East Timor independence, they were in civil war with Portuguese being prepared to leave this their last colony!
