@ChargersFanForLyfe Yeah no problem. I never broke my finger my tibia it was a long break but my Doctor said because my bones were very strong it broke clean so I didn't have any surgery. Instead I had to wear a long leg cast for a month, a knee high cast for a month, a knee high walking cast for a month, and a Camwalker boot for 2 weeks. I'm sorry about the surgery ouch. Also why do they immobilize the wrist for a finger fracture it makes no sense
@080594M127 its literally been 4 days and its a pain to do anything like even taking a shower... i broke my left pinky pretty bad had to have a 2 hour surgery but im going to take the cast off once i get the last of my pain medicine. in like 2 weeks maybe but yeah it sucks. thanks for your 2 cents on the subject
@ChargersFanForLyfe I know how you feel. I broke my tibia and not my pinky. It was a bad break but it was clean a 4 inch break I did it by landing backwards on my skate accidentally at Skateland. Ouch metal and surgery is very painful more pain on top of the broken bone. I wouldn't wear it. Why would they immobilize the wrist for this it's not like you broke your metacarpal bone or your scapoid which is a bone in the wrist, I could understand this for a hand. Don't remove it too early.
@080594M127 god damnit i broke my fucking pinky and they did this same shit i have to have this cast for 6 weeks... im taking it off soon by myself and just bandaging it i have 2 pins and 10 stitches in it tho only bad part.
They really shouldn't cast a broken finger due to muscle atrophy in the wrist. When you break you finger you can still move your wrist. I would ask for a splint and only tape one finger up. There is no point in taping up a working finger.
@080594M127 yeah ive already taken off the cast my pinky is fine with a damn bandage
