  • Awesome! It is so hard to film wild frogs calling. Most freeze if they are noticed. Very nice vid.

  • Thanks for the comment. It wasn't filming the frogs that was difficult, it was standing in a swamp at 2am surrounding by water moccasins that was the real challenge.

  • Ew, and the mosquitoes, were they horrible?

  • No, surprisingly, they were not. The worst night I ever experienced with mosquitoes was filming a maternal bat roost in Indiana. The mosquitoes were so thick that it felt like moving a lace curtain when I pass my hand in front of my face. The clip of the bat roost is at our website, cavebiota dot com.
