if you can watch these media whores for more than 5 seconds with out feeling a nauseous urge to purge at both ends then you are truly what they want you to be.

there are lots of people that run. only 2 can possibly win. either you're an elephant or a jack ass. plain and simple
-
This is so very true!
-
Are you high? The media reports on the most trivial matters: what dog Obama wants to buy, however it could be reporting on a 3rd or 4th candidate.
-
He has a point about this. But, in reality, there are only two viable candidates.
Until we fundamentally change the way elections are structured, we will have the two party system.
In reality, for now, there are only two real candidates.
-
How much more do you think it costs for the news to display 3 photos of 3 candidates rather than just 2 photos of 2 candidates? 25 cents? How the fuck is it possible for anyone to be this dumb?
-
It's like putting documents in foreign language - it COSTS more! So at election time, they split things up into the two MAJOR different camps. It doesn't matter if you're voting for a third-party candidate; you can STILL VOTE! No big deal here.
-
You are a complete idiot. The two main candidates ARE the two main candidates - not because the lame-stream media says it, but because it's the real, honest TRUTH - which you may not like (boo-hoo!) but that's the way it is. If a different group can get a candidate to be a major force in any election, he or she will be reported! Amazingly SIMPLE (but too complicated for you, apparently!)
-
A third point: You are confusing the concept of "normal" with "average". Lying about who the candidates are in a campaign is AVERAGE because it is what is commonly done. But it's a perversion of the political process and hence is not "normal".
-
The media is not just "focused" on the "main two" candidates in this account, the media is completely denying the existence of any other candidates that the ones THEY arbitrarily deem as being the "main two". So you not only missed the main point of this presentation, but you are also colluding with the corrupt media by mischaracterizing this as just
"FOCUSing on the main two candidates". Now you're stupid AND a liar.
-
Wow. Talk about missing the point. The whole point of this is that the main two candidates are the main two candidates because the media TELLS you they are the main two candidates. You completely missed the cause and affect message here, which I assume that you are simply not very intelligent.
give me a break. yeah go strain at a nat. there are ONLY 2 options that have a chance and the media only has so much time in a broadcast. Now do I think the Media is biased youbetcha. But there are so many better examples than this pitiful one.

What does time limitations have to do with misleading the public? You don't think they could talk about those two without telling people they are the only two running? And look at websites where there is plenty of "time" or room on the page. You can't see the game being played when a news outlet only lists 2 candidates on the page (when others are able to list many more, the pages scroll you know) And who can win is not the criteria for listing. You think horse racing sites should exclude too?

this is about control. And this is not the only example but it is clear cut. Telling people there are only two when there are more is fraud. And the media can't have it both ways, arguing that Nader and others are so "irrelevant" that they shouldn't report on them yet that they might "spoil" a swing state! We are supposed to be a democracy, the thing pundits go on and on about yet they have contempt for the democratic process.
