Acid test is good, apply the liquid and if it goes bright red. Then it's Silver, if it goes brown colour then it's fake. Sometimes the bright red colour goes darker after a short time. This means it's silver, but lower than 925. But it's still silver. To compare, use a coin and see how quickly the liquid goes brown and compare it to the real thing. There's 925 and britannia silver which is 958 and then fine.
what about silver on Copper.. you said silver is never just silver,because it would bee too soft. so is silver on copper still worth anything or just junk. thanks
