I love how none of you have any idea of what your talking about. There is no proof, Dyno or otherwise, that this creates a boost leak. Yet hate on a man for doing what he wants with his car.

you're dumb. the stock DV are too quiet and you can't put BOV on these cars...well you can, but it would be a stupid move so instead of getting a Forge DV he bought the $100 or so cheaper spacer. the thing i dont get is that the spacer dumps the hot air out atmospherically correct? and diverts the cold back into into the intake? shouldn't that still not be too great for the motor...years to come that is.

Please don't put BOV on cars with MAF...

MAF calculate amount of air entering engine but BOV shoots that air out so engine runs too rich !

my GTI almost sounds like that with apr tuning and stock diverter valve, whats the point? I tried the spacer before it and it seemed like the rpms dropped too fast between shifts, the diverter valve sends that air back on the other side of the turbo to keep the wheel spinning.

if VAG cars really want the BOV sound, simple: upgrade the DV and use some sort of filter over the MAF or a cold-air intake which will almost make the same sound as a BOV! Whilst, keeping your car running properly for years to come!

sounds dumb and you are paying money for a boost leak.Just put on a aftermarket intake and put the air filter behind the head light.It is louder than the spacer.
