oh and one more thing the Holy Ghost Feast and Saint Anthony's Feast shouldn't be mixed together. All the girls in the capes is a tradition of the Holy Ghost Feast from Queen Isabel of Portugal.....its seems that you put the emphasis on the capes instead of the flag and crown which are the real Portuguese symbols of the Holy Ghost Feast.

This Procession makes me sick! It is so disrespectful of the traditions that come from the Azores. I am from Fall River, MA which has probably the largest Portuguese community in the U.S. and our processions are solemn and somber the way its supposed to be. People wooo hoooing and whatnot is awful...have some respect and know our real traditions.
