@Lagerfeld2008 if all the germans are so skinny...
-
yes, I know what you mean. But as somebody which were talking MUCH with german veterans and a german soldier by itselfe:
let it be - they just play the battles to honour our soldiers!
Secondly I know 'fat' soldiers how u describe it, which are pretty much like warriors in soldier knowledge and at last at body controlling.
They can handle themselfe with a reserve in some way.
Greetings from Germany
Ehre wem Ehre gebührt!

He's right the ONLY Hollywood movie I have ever seen this weapon in is "Battle of the Bulge" when the General walks into the bunker and inspects some newly captured soldiers the American General looks at one of these captured rifles and says that there was still shipping grease in it. (or words to that effect)

the two fish trucks story is amazing im going to tell all my ww2 buddies and also do you speak german at the reenactment?
This comment has received too many negative votes show
those Fat American Reenactors are a discrace for all of our fallen German Soldiers/Veterans (In my Opinion) The Wehrmachtbelt´s looks like theye gonna rip appart by fat belly´s any minute. PEACE

@Lagerfeld2008 You should tell that to the WWII German Veterans that are members of our unit, I have seen more than a few tears in their eyes. And what about the two 150 lbs young men behind him? Hmmmm Or...How about the fact that the unit we represent, has given us written permission and the blessings of it's veterans organization, to carry on it's name and traditions? Come on, give Chris a break, he's been doing this for something like 30 years!
