Trevor Smith performing 'Reflections on the Nature of Water' by Jacob Druckman.

Reflections on the Nature of Water is an abstract view of water from a physical and conceptual level. It explores the sounds of water transcribed for the marimba. The six movements, (Crystalline, Fleet, Tranquil, Gently Swelling, Profound and Relentless) represent the beauty, power, simplicity and mystery of water.
-Trevor Smith

Part 1 contains the first three movements: Crystalline, Fleet, and Tranquil.
Part 2 contains the last three movements: Gently Swelling, Profound and Relentless

This performance was recorded in March of 2009.
