  • whats a rips intake plenum worth for rb26

  • @FalconVee8 There's a few options but they start at nzd1850 with 90mm throttle body and fittings etc.

  • just asking, is it possible to fit a RB25/26 into the engine bay of a '03 ford focus? I know about some bolt-on V8 conversions, but i like RBs better

  • @MrEnergydrinkaddict Anything is possible with a suitable budget but the RB would be alot longer than the V8s they probably put in them.

  • Absolutly awesome.... except......You don't even have a 454 Camaro and even if you did I bet it wouldn't run mid 9s in full street trim, Its guys with menatlities like yours that I destroy at the drag strip on a regular basis, its just about 2010 pal!!!, a street 454 would have to be making around 3000hp on petrol to be making the same hp per CI as our reliable street RB30s. Now we all know that aint gunna happen pal. Do us all a favour and go talk trash somewhere else.

  • Im only 4, and i own a RB49 Triple Turbo.. Its currently getting 2890ATWs. Best of luck with your dream.

  • @RIPSNZ

Mate I am not doubting you or your engines I am just saying that the cheapest way to get to 1000hp is with a v8, longevity and reliability is another thing.

  • @TraxxasKing depends on the spec I suppose, for a chug chig V8 your probably right but for reliable hp/ci these are WAY ahead of just about any V8. Let me know how much it would cost for a relibale 7-8 hp per cubic inch V8 street engine that runs on petrol and will last 3 years at 9000-10,000rpm (thats a reliable 3000+hp from say 400 ci) bet you its not cheaper than one of my engines

  • @MrEnergydrinkaddict

v8 would be a lot cheaper

  • @RIPSNZ yeah, if everything has to be custom made my budget will be blown to pieces rather quick, plus I live in germany, where we have crazy regulations, so kepping it street-legal will be close to impossible.

  • @Maccc0 there's lots of options on how we could go about it but if the customer supplies nothing prices start at around AU35k

  • Lol, not $1000. I meant 1000HP haha, sound so immature :P
