Here is PART 8 of My Pinball Collection featuring the Bally / Williams hybrid from 1996, Safe Cracker.

Many of you have asked to see more pinball videos. So, here is a quick "close-up" of one particular machine in my collection. I hope you enjoy it and look for future installments coming soon.

  • did you about the cow sound easter egg??????

  • @TheCrulZ2348 I can't remember which one it is (there are SO many hidden cow things in these games, ha ha). But, I remember hearing about one....

  • hey spida1a is it true that at 6:02 you can see your big bang bar number carton at the right?

i am just a 15 jear old loving pinball! great vids.

  • @vooghie Yes, that is my number. Ha ha. I didn't show that in the Big Bang Bar vid.....or did I? I can't remember. Ha ha. :)

  • Just wanted to thank you again Chris for your pinball videos. Your videos are a fan favorite at work. We watch them as we work and have started new interest in pinball with the video game only crowd at work. The guys at work ask for your videos regularly.

  • @JetSetBaroni Thanks very much! I am so glad to hear that you guys enjoy it as much. It's funny...I like how the Safe Cracker one "cut" together, but it was the first one I shot after the car-accident and you can tell I am DEAD TIRED. Ha ha! I wish I could re-film it and re-upload it. :)

    Thanks again!

  • I have Sega Golden Eye (James Bond) pinball machine, it's a great pinball machine. Goldeneye would be a fun pinball for your collection I'm sure people would love playing.

  • @JetSetBaroni No wonder my knees are getting bad. Ha ha. :)

  • Safe Cracker uncrated weight was 270 lbs

  • @Undurrrdog1 It worked out well for people who enjoy it. But, it sold horribly and didn't really make the splash they had hoped. :(

  • @spida1a

If this game worked out so well, why did they never make any other pins like it?

  • @spida1a Oh. You're right about that! Certainly wouldn't expect it to be that heavy...

  • That's an incredible idea. I always wished that when I beat a game at the arcade it would give me some kind of prize and this one does!

  • It certainly is a unique game!

  • @TrueSoreThumb Well, you can blame my ex-girlfriend for the magnets. We made them for free so....ha ha, oh well. :)

  • SafeCracker seems like a really cool game. Something about the tokens makes the game memorable-- though the magnets look kinda awful by today's standards, it's nice to still have something indicative of one's accomplishment.

  • This one looks interesting but very high maintenance. I wonder how much you got it for..

  • dude, join the nyc pinball league!

  • @Vkmies The only arcade machine I own right now is "Donkey Kong." As part of the last installment of this Pinball Collection, I was going to briefly show it. Like "other stuff in my gameroom" kind of thing. :)

  • Do you have any arcade-machines? And If you do, have you ever planned to make any videos about them?

  • Ticks me off when I get knocked out of the board, too.

  • Amazing machine, one I've been looking for.

  • Hey Chris! Now that's a pinball machine I have never seen or played. Very unique, and I hope it's one of your "keepers."

I would love to get into pinball collecting but I am still just so in love with retro consoles ATM that i just can't justify it yet. Seeing as how I just bought a Neo Geo AES my money is going to be tied up elsewhere. :)

  • Again a pinball review full of very interesting Informations, thanks chris for all the explanations =)

  • @nlafavore Yes, but it's "deceptively" heavy. You wouldn't expect this machine to be as heavy as it is since it is smaller. Hence....why I said "deceptively" heavy.

Plus, once you add the backbox weight, it is heavier than both of those machines you described.
