Pop Will Eat Itself perform 'Touched By The Hand Of Cicciolina' on Top Of The Pops in June 1990. Look out for guest appearances from Patricia Morrison, from the Sisters Of Mercy, on backing vocals and Dan Warton, from Ned's Atomic Dustbin, on drums
Sill cant stand this tune. My mum used to play pwei when I was growing up as a little kid. My sister used to scream " Get it offffffffffff" when this came on lol.
This was, and still is a fantastic track although, it's not one of my favorites from the "Cure For Sanity," album. I reckon that "Nightmare At 20,000 Feet," would've been a good single release.
Well I think it's pants! There were several much better album tracks on Cure For Sanity. Anyway, I have this video on a VHS of TOTP2. I did wonder who that daft woman was - now I've finally solved the mystery! I saw her on a Sisters Of Mercy video yesterday and recognised her from this TOTP "performance".
Nah! It's good! I used to hate it but it grew on me. The only version I like however is the extended 7min mix that appears on the album. It's a good instrumental and a bit of a change from the usual poppies style.
AHHHH CICCIOLINA, all prostitutes should become politicians, VIVE ITALIA!!!!

This would have hit number 1 if they had John Barnes rapping.
