This is a transformation of a Pyraminx Crystal I made in 2008. The shape is an Icosidodecahedron (yes, that's the official maths name). Rotational movement is identical to the puzzle I made it from. To colour it I used high quality Skewb style stickers on the 12 pentagonal faces, doubling up on opposite sides. I then used normal Rubik's Cube style stickers on the remaining 20 triangular faces, again doubling up colours on opposite sides. The transformation was done by hand without rapid prototyping or even moulding.
This is the 2nd puzzle I have made this shape
See- http://tonyfisherpuzzles.net for photos and more information on this and all my other puzzles.
