It's amazing how foreign countries have blazing fast internet when it began here in the USA. My speed blows. Maybe if our government would invest in it's own people instead of fighting nutty wars all over the globe .

Unfortunately. Not all pages load very fast. It all depends on the performance and connectivity of the server hosting the website.
Singapore has big plans for the internet. To have the whole of Singapore connected with 1gbps. Singtel, our biggest telco is assigned by the IDA (Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore) to kick off on the infrastructure. This will also means, all our communication can and will be tracked by the government. :s
I would rather trade speed for privacy.
