Jools was lovely and a great singer.
Guy who wrote the song wasn`t too bad either.
A B. Dylan, I believe....

I just love the passion when she really gets into the song.

Who remembers Julie longer hair before the ' Vouge ' haircut .

@999carpet yep, i'm with you mate ! wow, what a time, what music ! after all those years that sound makes me still shiver. jools is one o' the best female singers, besides inga rumpff from germany, who i met once in a club in hamburg. keep the good tunes alive ! gx.

SHE WAS A SIXTIES GODESS ... GREAT SONG ... THX

Great early use of the mellotron in the beginning, verses, and end, but Brian Auger is only ever seen playing the organ which takes over in the middle 8s. Julie was a great singer.

@bri414smith I was there too and she was one of my Godesses.
The band was good too! So were; Chicken Shack , John Mayall, Graham Bond etc etc.
What a time to be young!

She´s still alive; I saw her last summer at Dartington Summer School in England.
She was leading a jazz-class there. Naturally she´s looking 40 years older now, as we all do!

Couldn't agree more with Vyqxen

As someone who was in their teens in the late sixties I can only say that Julie was a Goddess and most of the music together with the feel good factor was awesome. You had to be there.
