i find this so hard to control

I have finished the game and have all the cars and think the controls for this game are better than analog sticks by far. I did buy a old PS2 wheel from gamestop and (with a old broken vacuum belt as a wedge) was able to lock the wiimote in place at the top of the horizontal of the wheel. With some screws I was able to stop the wheel from turning the wiimote past 90 degrees.. This wheel made the game very fun and controlled perfectly.

Though that is only if you like sim type racers. The wheel works just as well with any other racer on the wii except Mario Kart.

@MrWLangers Exactly the Wii is a great gaming machine, and because of all the shuffle ware people can't see that. They seem to not see past the crappy games and see all the great ones, and F-Zero with Mario Kart's control skeem would rock so hard. It would make for one amazing game. Why Nintendo hasn't realized this is beyond me. Man I wish I knew how to convince them to make it.

This game proves that you can have great graphics and great control options for a Wii racing game. I hate how many budget titles have either great control and N64 graphics or great looking graphics and the controls that suck hardcore. The Wii needs more racing games like this one with multiplayer options of course before Nintendo brings out the new console. Maybe Nintendo needs to bring out the big guns and give us F-Zero finally.

played this on the dreamcast...loved it...will deffo be gettin this..

True, no online but WIi version runs at 60fps vs 30fps on the PS3. The PS3 version does look quite a bit better.
