Ethan Powell needs your Prayers!

Ethan Powell was born on December 5, 2006, and diagnosed with Leukemia on February 6, 2007. He was given a 15 percent chance to survive. Ethan's father, Ben, started a website when he was born at www.EthanPowell.com to share baby photos with the family. But when Ethan was diagnosed, he immediately logged on using a hospital computer and converted the website into prayer central for Ethan and has updated this page every day (sometimes multiple times a day) with the progress. The only thing that he ever asks for is prayer. 640,000+ people from all over the nation have become Ethan's "Prayer Warriors".




We are encouraging a UNIFIED PRAYER DAY for ETHAN POWELL on June 10, 2007. We ask that on this day your church set aside a special time during your regular service to pray for Ethan.




If his bone marrow is more than 25 percent infected with leukemia, the doctors are planning to send him to finish out his days peacefully. We are asking on behalf of the Powell family that you join us in this prayer - a prayer that Ethan will be able to make it to and through a stem cell transplant. If the numbers are not low enough, the doctors are not willing to attempt it. We are also asking for prayers for his family - they have been a ROCK through this. Ethan means more to me than any material possession. My love for him is like breath. It is a need that he fills. It doesn't matter that he has a 15% chance of life, or extreme chance of permanent brain and kidney damage if he survives. God is in control. From what we know, he shouldn't have survived until now, much less the next 72 hours. People laughed at Noah when he believed it would rain, and the weather experts of his day predicted a less than 0% chance. God is our creator and the ultimate healer. All we are asking for is your prayers on our behalf. Please look at my little boy on the photos page, and know who you are praying for then pray for a miraculous healing."
