I agree. If anything, it makes me feel sorry for him. The poor man was forced into a position he never wanted to be in and suffered for it greatly and in silence. As someone mentioned earlier, it is indeed a shame that he died when he did. They could've been happy.

I also more than agree that all these deleted scenes would have made the movie endlessly better. It seemed so random and rushed in its original cut and did no justice to either the book or history.

The book, (The Other Boleyn Girl), was from Mary's point of view. However, the producers of the movie decided to make it All About Anne. These scenes help prove my point, as most of the deletes seem to be about Mary -.-

Love the movie, even if it focused on Anne too much.

@HisSn0wWhiteQueen Yeah I think Benedict showed that very well because in the scene where the tell Marry what she has to do he looks like he doesn't want Marry to become the kings whore (I know that's not what she was called but I don't care) but he has no choice.

Benedict Cumberbatch does such a great role in this movie and i'm dissapointed that these two scenes got cut!

I wish they hadn't cut all of these scenes for several reasons. First of all, the movie was REALLY choppy, and they don't even SAY that William Carey died, so anyone who hadn't read the book was probably really confused because one minute she was married to William and then the next she was married to Stafford. Also, I think the title "The Other Boleyn Girl" doesn't just refer to Mary, it refers to Marry AND Anne always being in eachother's shadows, and this film needs more Mary.

@RachelsNotDead Actually he agreed for Mary to sleep with the king in the first place and it was his own fault because if he hadn't Mary wouldn't have fallen for the king at all and they would have had their own children . Instead of her having the bastard son of the king
