I've been in NY for a few months now and found out that my favourite North London singer, Eliza Doolittle, had a gig in the village. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to see her perform so booked a ticket as fast as my digits would let me. Although the idea of travelling all the way over the Atlantic to see a local "Norf Lundana' (must be said correctly even if I am in the States!) seems strange it was well worth it. I did find eating right under her performance slightly strange (isn't it manners not to eat while your being sung to???) and almost felt like I was being rude not to offer her some of my panini. Great performance and thanks for the John Hancock, but grrr! as I was rushing to get to PENN Station I totally forgot to ask for a pic backstage... Luckily I'll be at your gig in Shepherds Bush to get one there so please remind me when you see me :oD
Yeah it was great, I loved it and was right at the front of the stage :)
