Part 1 of 11

Gwen Stefani recorded her voice in May 2002. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1454034/20020516/no_doubt.jhtml.Gwen had mentioned it in a post at nodoubt.com at the time: ''Last week was completely mad. We have been so busy. We recorded all the voices for the new Malice video game and it took forever! I had a sore voice by the end of it. I hope it turns out cool.'' (thanks lamb83 from forums.nodoubt.com)

The 2010 PlayStation Museum Game Of The Year goes to Malice by Sierra Interactive. This brilliantly designed game features superior graphics and playability as well as Gwen Stefani as the voice of Malice!

For the full history of Malice, visit the museum website.

This is how the game should have been. Notice the differences in storyline and playability between this version and the retail released game. Comparing this version to the retail version is like night and day.

  • A little disapointed that this version of the game was not realeased. It look way better than the actual game.

  • @BlueSpeedsFan92 I agree but unfortunately it was in development for so long that the original design concept got lost.

  • Never played it.. should i get it?

  • @Twgatana The retail version is different from this cancelled version. If you can buy the retail version at a bargain price for $2 or less, then it might be worth a shot.

  • Wish could play this some how ^^

  • Soooo, any possible way to upload this version on the internets? Can't believe they took bump mapping out of the released version. This canceled version looks much closer to the xbox version with minimal slowdown.

    So yeah.... upload the iso!

  • @PlayStationMuseum anyway to get the cancelled version?

  • @meeeeegan17 no :'(

  • the main reason people (reviewers) gave this a bad review is because they showed the demo 2 years before releasing and it was a different system and different game (in many respects)

  • the "retail version" is no where near as bad as reviewers say it is- I picked it up for 5 bux and I admit it's got a few issues (sometimes the game slows down, and once and a while they don't give you the option of playing with the camera, as well around level 4 the game amps up the challenge). The camera angles are (mostly) solid, the power ups are original and helpful, the character is cute butt kicker sass, and the controls are also solid and responsive-

  • @pHr33kAcHu couldn't agree more (with the voice actress part) I think they just attached stefani for the cred.

  • At least the retail voice actress sounds more like the character looks (and can actually act to boot). This version just sounds like standard old "I WANT TO BE MADONNA" Gwen Stefani. Also PS1 version would have pwned the hell out of this.

  • @meeeeegan17 No.

  • does the released version have gwens vocals? :3
