This is incorrect.
There is a law that prohibits blasphemy in the Netherlands, and there's a kind of general consensus that says that freedom of speech does not equal freedom to offend, which is why this man was prosecuted.
If you look at some of the needlessly racist things this man said then, yeah, some people could feel offended in such a way that they'd sue.
Anyway, he was acquitted. So stop whining please. Thank you.
