There's a problem with this report ... it presented all Dominico-Haitian problems as stemming from the Trujillo regime totally failing to mention the true roots of Anti-Haitian sentiment in the Dominican population, namely the invasions massacres that occured in the early 19th century. Secondly, the report works from the premise the the Dominican state should actually be responsible for these people (illegal Haitians). Nonsense..

Once we got our indepence We wanted to oust the spanish out of DR too ,but the slaves overthere were happy with theirs conditions , in other word the were mostly uncle Toms . Im an American of Haitian descent and I met quite a few Domicans who thought that being mixed or being lightskin made them white or better than others. Until some whiteman would give them a reality check. They might act normal in the states but trust me most of them been brainwashed into thinking that white is better
