This is a cormmecial I worked on with a number of people who work at MetropolitanRepublic. The commercial is for MTN.

Every year, South Africa celebrates Women's Day on the 9th of August, honouring 20 000 women who marched against apartheid. We decided to inspire all women by using historical female figures through the ages.

  • If I marry I want my wife to reach all her goals and I want us to stand shoulder to shoulder. I want us to be a team. I want to be the kind of husband whom is strong enough to nurture his wife in all ways through all things

  • @sovietlemon I dont know why everyone hates this comment, its actually a fair rant. Its a little mean and one sided (which can be unproductive) but its still true. Feminism is getting out of controll and sexism is targeting men now.

  • @crashkadara totaly agree w you. no sexism!

  • she was talking about an era of women degradation. only because she sad that women should respect themselves and think differently, that doesnt mean she sad that men should be submiss and less than women.

  • Whas this comedy? or serious...I couldn't really tell.

  • @JBionicsMan may you have a nice time polishing your horns and wearing your green hat ;-)

  • @lmarr07 Actually I think that could be true.

I'm a woman and I beleive in womens right's but that does not mean I don't believe in men's rights too, by calling yourself a feminist you imply you beleive in the superiority of women.

That's why I call my self an equalisist, I don't just believe in women's rights.

    I believe in civil rights.

    Love; Birdie

  • Very inspiring.

  • Speak for yourself lesbo! I LOVE men!

    Stop generalizing people!

  • and what about men, you give all the limelight to women, you can be who ever you want! and men, we hate you all because your so sexist and usueless because all you want is sex? you talk of sexism towards women being unforgivable, but you laugh and throw it at men at the first chance, you want an equal world, or a world controlled by women, and hate?

  • hmmm, i'm not quite sure how to respond, maybe i shouldn't because i'm a guy. However i can't resist: Great, empowering message, but i feel a little advertised at, or advertised to (if i were a woman). Equal to me, or greater than me, sometimes even less than me (whose counting?) is the woman on the street, who is proud to be a person. Here's my message, be the good person you are. That's the spirit.
