Had Thanksgiving dinner on a turkey farm in West Michigan. Thanks to the Snider family, and Zach who showed me through the turkey barns.

  • I never ate, and will never eat turkey. Horrible conditions these animals are living in; cramped together by the THOUSANDS, with no space to walk or roam around, completely stressed out, constantly alert and on the watch for danger, not even being able breath fresh outside-air...

    It's just a sick business.

  • @WHATABOUTUS18 Oh you really know a lot about this...were you there? did you take the video? you don't know what you're talking about. they have room to move around, they get fresh air, and i don't have a clue what you're talking about being stressed out and watching for danger....probably for people like you, watching to make sure they are not bad mouthed.

  • why white feather?

  • @KatiushaVN4 No clue, it's just the way God made them!

  • Poor things, thats just plain cruel. even if they do have a short life

  • @TheZingesh It's the same way liberals should be treated.

  • These turkeys are white because commercialized breeding made them so, not God. We bred them to be white so poor plucking jobs are less visible to the consumer's eyes. And as for treatment, sorry, but I raise Turkeys (normal heritage ones, not these super-fast growing white monstrosities) and have neighbors who raise them like the video shown, and their lives aren't very "humane." I'm sorry but until someone knows true poultry behavior, they're terrible judges of humane vs inhumane farming.

  • @jhmorgan0951 what, does this look like a natural turkey habitat to you? are you serious?

  • @WHATABOUTUS18 More for me then.

  • that is very sad! they cant move with out running in to someone

  • "There's nine thousand birds in here?" "No, there's more than that." It's OVER 9000!!!!!!

  • @WHATABOUTUS18 Oh, go smoke some ween U hippie

  • @jhmorgan0951 Wild Turkeys have a blue/grey skin. Man has bred them to have white skin because they "look more appealing" on the platter. Hence the white feathers.
