Carl Levin: Tax fairness "front and center" with voters in '12 - thanks, in part, to Romney's taxes

Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told reporters at a breakfast hosted by The Christian Science Monitor that voters would be heavily interested in issues taxation and fairness -- not the least bit because of issues raised by Mitt Romney's tax returns.

On Thursday, January 26, Senator Carl Levin, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, joined the Monitor Breakfast for a conversation with reporters.

Carl Milton Levin is the senior United States Senator from Michigan, serving since 1979. He is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He has been Michigan's senior senator since 1995.

The right wing doesn't want to reduce the deficit; they want to bankrupt the country so they can buy everything up at fire-sale prices. They literally want to own the country lock, stock and barrel so they charge outrageous amounts of money for things that used to be funded by public taxes. This is already happening with our national parks.

FYI Romney made close to 20 million in 2011 and paid a tax rate of 14%. Doesn't take a genius to see that this is a problem.

He's mad because Romney brought attention to something he, his friends and most of the 1% have been doing for decades.
