Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told reporters at a breakfast hosted by The Christian Science Monitor that voters would be heavily interested in issues taxation and fairness -- not the least bit because of issues raised by Mitt Romney's tax returns.

  • Carl is an greedy asshole propping up the MIC . He most likely gets a 10% agent fee.

  • The right wing doesn't want to reduce the deficit; they want to bankrupt the country so they can buy everything up at fire-sale prices. They literally want to own the country lock, stock and barrel so they charge outrageous amounts of money for things that used to be funded by public taxes. This is already happening with our national parks.

  • @TheronSax That's less than my wife pays at around 40 grand a year. These people are corporate raiders.

  • @ctwatcher You don't have to like McCain, I don't, but to say that he didn't suffer like others while he spent 5 years as a POW is just false. He can't raise his arms above his shoulders because of torture he suffered while held captive.

  • @flyingfishdreams Are you talking about John POW POW McCain? He makes me sick. He might have been a POW but he didn't suffer like the others did. He needs to go too. He can take all his warmongering buddies with him. Better yet, how about their kids and grandkids go into war and come back in a box. Mittens has 5 boys, almost a platoon! Yes, I like this idea.

  • FYI Romney made close to 20 million in 2011 and paid a tax rate of 14%. Doesn't take a genius to see that this is a problem.

  • @ctwatcher Sooooo true ! He's the defense budgets Atm card and us tax payers are the bank.

He also wrote NDAA with John give me a cain.

He's mad because Romney brought attention to something he, his friends and most of the 1% have been doing for decades.

  • @LiberalJerseyman Since when? Lifetime politicians with way too much power are what is destroying this nation. Term limits or age limits, I don't care, just get rid of these old men who get off on wars.

  • @ctwatcher He's been trying to lower the defense budget more and more. His position allows him to have a great influence on this.

  • @LiberalJerseyman That's all he does is send more money for wars. And being the chair of defense, what do you think he does?
