A Fox News camera captured Jesse Jackson uttering the N-word while he was preparing to tape an interview earlier this month, a word he has denounced publicly as degrading to African Americans.

On Wednesday [07-16-08], Fox News' star Bill O'Reilly revealed the details of Jackson's appearance on tape, saying that he wanted to lay to rest reports based on news leaks.

Honky and Trash are a facade that was created to falsely equate the capacity for white people's vulnerability in US history to be held in the same light as blacks.

Once there is a word that is equates whites to 'nigger'....then the ghettos disappear, the lack of schooling, the lack of real estate, the lack of decent wage earning, the lack of sitting where you want on a bus, or drinking from the same fountain as a white.....they all disappear. @gathern Another point I'd make about white people arguing about the 'right' to say the word too...is simply ask them on live national TV, "are you Bob Smith asserting that you'd like to be able to say that word too? Are you aware of the context that this word has been used in? And you still want to say it?"

@gathern Now, I wish I could remember the first point he made. It was about 5 sentences long and it added to, and put into perspective everything that this lady and man were trying to talk about. "Yes. THAT'S the point."

The the 2nd point he said was real simple

He said, "Look I don't get the big deal, I don't understand the confusion and debate. In grade 3 we learned as children that I can talk about my momma but you sure as hell cannot. And I think that's what's at play here."-paraphrased

@gathern I watched a debate on CNN a few days ago and the "N" word. There was a black lady, a black man, and some dude from Tennessee or Alabama or Arizona or one them place.

Know what I saw? I saw the brotha and the sista make feeble points.

Neither here nor there type of analysis. Don't get me wrong, they were heading in the right direction, but the person on that panel with the most accurate insight, the most "removed and objective", was actually the white dude from down south.
