Carpenters "Where Do I Go From Here" "Official" Music Video

My fan-made "official" video for this song. My new video, I don't think it's the greatest, but I tried to make it look as what a real video for this song would have looked like if Karen and Richard had filmed one, I tried to match Karen's mouth with the song, I don't know how well it came out.

Karen was 28 when she sung this - she sounds AWFUL - this is not Karen at her best. She sounds 58. Was she sick that day in the recording studio. Go back 3 years to the Horizon album and she sounds fantastic. How people didn't know she wasn't well by 78 was beyond me.

What the heck are you talking about??? This was recorded more near the last of her years - and she sounds beautiful, as always. If you don't like Karen, for heavens sake, don't watch her videos - or better yet - don't comment. You'll only anger us fans.

I am a fan. I have listened and watched 99% of Carpenters music.

I just hate how she sounds on this song. Listen to the opening verse. Then listen to "I can Dream, Can't I", from three years previously. Not even the same singer...aging 30 years in 3 years.

I have not really heard this song ,but her voice is still good.

Maybe more mature,but that's because she is a woman now, not a young girl.

And a more seasoned singer by this time.

I never knew she had an eating disorder, until she died!

But that is my naivete.

Karen had such a unique voice, with Richards brilliant musical arrangements the Carpenters ramain in a league of their own. I grew up listening to their music and it always brings back fond memories.

A beautifully illustrated video. Good work Howard. You picked a lovely song and, tranquil images with Karen. Her surroundings were also very pretty, like Karen. I believe that Karen would be even more humbled than she already was.
