Making a Difference....in our Community

FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care has always been committed to providing high-quality care -- with dignity and compassion -- for those with a chronic or life-limiting illness.

Scheduled to open summer 2011, FirstHealth Hospice House will provide patients -- and their families -- with a new level of service for those who need more acute medical care than can be provided in the home.

Funded in part through the FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, the new Hospice residence will provide our community with the resources needed to take care of patients and their families in a home-like setting. The residence features private rooms, a family kitchen and dining area, chapel and solace room and a children's play area.

Located on a serene, thirty acre plot, just minutes from Moore Regional Hospital, the Hospice campus will also be home to the FirstHealth Grief Resource & Counseling Center and Hospice administration buildings so that all the needs of the patient and family can be met from one location.

Taking care of people and making a difference in our community!
