Stupid! -OR- Why you should never get sick in India!!!

What do you get when you live in a foreign country ,get deathly ill, recover and then try to leave???
RED TAPE AND A BIG FAT MESS!!!

I don't think that I really had tuberculosis and I"m getting a TB test to confirm or deny that tomorrow...

NOTE TO THE WISE: If you should accedentally overstay your visa go directly to the FRO (Foreign Registry Office) wherever you are staying. DO NOT FOLLOW MY EXAMPLE AND GO TO DELHI!!! It just means more problems and paperwork...

Last but not least: be friendly! They still may ask a bribe but friendliness can cut the bribe down significantly...

Dude, you're really brave, if I got sick like that in a foreign country I would leave. I admire your perseverance, but it does seem a little crazy.
