Continuity:
More attempts at the Japanese themed day. Some nervous giggles from the girls as there's a technical problem with a video showing a Japanese street. Video plays after a slight delay. They announce the winner of the previous Turtles competition. Then they take two callers who each give us a Japanese fact. The competition question for the next Turtle episode is given. Announcements of forthcoming Nick shows including Grimmy, new Rugrats and Clarissa in September, along with the minute madness competition coming up later on that afternoon. They then link into the next Turtles episode.

One "interesting" fact about this continuity - I'm actually in this video. I appear in the top left hand corner of the window briefly in the last minute of this link. This is the reason why this was recorded.

It was basically the name of the live presenter strands on Nickelodeon in the UK. It started in 1994 IIRC live from the Trocadero. They later moved to Rathbone Place (just off Oxford Street) in 1996/7. They eventually dropped the name in 1997 while keeping the live presenter strands. It was very popular and stood the channel out from other UK children's broadcasters at the time.

I remember that old studio. They had to move the cameras away from facing the windows in the end because some twats came along with obscene t-shirts hurling finger gestures at the cameras. :-P
