Yemen: Risking Refuge

Increasingly large numbers of Somali refugees and other desperate people are trying to make their way across the Gulf of Aden to the shores of Yemen to find refuge from war and poverty. This desperate journey has cost hundreds their lives as they seek a better life. UNHCR assists those who survive and tries to discourage others from making the perilous journey. subhanallah.. i question myself why somalis risk their lives comin to yemen? i mean out of places in the world,, why die 4 yemen? its worse than somalia in every wy. sheesh plus they hate black ppl wether u muslim or not race is more obvious to them..i just pray somalia builds itslf sooner or somalis wil live in missery in every muslim naion thy run to...this is when i fel so apreciated to the west, honestly westerns has more kind heart than many so called muslims.. sadly thy gud 4 bombin only

@Falisia11 Thats true. Westerners are much nicer, and we owe a big gratitude to them. They could have denied us, they gave us homes, food, and an opportunity to advance, while we keep our beliefs, our religion! mshaAlla.. No one can intrude on you for racism. Gods will. Im sure those countries rulers, they aren't even true Muslims, if they lacked Muslim names, they would have no human consideration, no morals. Yet everyone isn't the same... I think they should quickly build the bridge from Africa to Yemen so that Somalis don't need to risk the terrible boat ride and walk across.

I suffer pain that has no medicin at all. I watch my people as they die and it hurts so much knowing that I can't help. my back bone is broken and I can't walk at all. tribe is what got us divided and destroyed our land. Oh Allah I cry tears pliz help out my pll. They pray for u and obey u more than other Islam countries do. Oh my back bone is broken and the pain never goes away. my only medicine is seeing Somalis United which almost seems to be impossible but Allah everyting is possible with u.
