For a start, get rid of Vista the RAM hungry piece of ****. Windows 7 x64 + latest drivers from NVIDIA site. Don't install the Acer Bloatware, Punch in a good 20% overclock on the GPU using Rivatuner. Upgrade from your shitty generic RAM that came with the lappy to 8GB of 1066mhz low latency modules. In some cases you can also install a quad core such as a Q9000, however all mobo versions can take an X9100! Phew, you get the point, of course stock laptops suck at gaming, make an effort!
