Nice gun but way too much fog man .

@laser74hobby green lasers are 510-570nm therefor not much power is needed to be very visible, because our eyes can see 510-570 nanometers the best. im guessing this isnt a very powerful laser, there is just A LOT of fog

The 1000mw blue laser would burn better, but the green lasers look the best. Check my lasers out. Cool gun

it should be a 210mw blue

@laser74hobby no you just need lots of power, the proton packs were nuclear
-
@laser74hobby Now they have the 1 watt Casio diodes (445nm blue), which are more powerful than the 12x blu-rays. Therefore, the 12x blurays have dropped in price all the way to only $50 for the sled. Or, you can get the Casio diodes off laserpointerforums for only around $45-$55

@boredom1000 what kind of questions are these?
they tell me the answer !
That case is from MadCatz....They (meaning Paramount) actually used it as a phaser prop in an episode of Star Trek VOyager....Watch the episode "Drive" ajnd you will see the prop in action. They of course modified it so that it would look a little more futuristic but it is the same MadCatz "Fazor" lightgun that you have. Pretty cool to see real laser beams coming out of it.

So what is the most powerful laser you can buy to put in one of these?
ureadmymind 1 year ago
@ureadmymind The most powerful laser to date is a 12x 405nm bluray diode it can reach around 600-700mw of power! They are very expensive though the DVD burners they come out of cost around 200 dollars and then you have to get one out and build a module ALOT of work...go to LaserPointerForum and you can see more about them.
