U.S. shuts down BitTorrent Web sites

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, the government along with the ICE office of Homeland Security Investigations shut down some major torrent search engine websites in the name of "protecting copyright" in some cases there were no complaints or notices from any court prior to these actions carried out. Is this the beginning of freedom on the Internet to be destroyed as the government seizes website domains, or more people awaken to their freedoms being stripped away by a growing government and actually doing some thing about it? sorry but people have to pay for music and movies!!! i also kinda live in that music industry and i can tell you torrent and downloads kills little artists and give em no chance to surwife. its not about madonna or lady gaga, its about them millions small acts/bands who needs to get paid to survive! but it will be solved soon new phnoes and osx's going to the right direcions will see that rip will stop soon i tell ya. watch frauenhofer institude who found the mp3 format, they will fix it soon!
