  • I'm glad someone chose such an important subject for their video. You asked all the right questions, and were right in getting both sides of the debate. I agree that the intro seemed to drag, maybe shortening the title and adding more clips of mexican immigration would've made the beginning stronger. Great job though.

  • The introduction was a little long. Instead of showing the begging page you could have showed where the audio was coming from. I like the contrasting points of view.

    Jenna

  • I really thought the switching between the two interviewees added a nice "debating" perspective, and I also liked the use of "Dying to Get In" to add emphasis on the media coverage of the illegal immigration issue, though I agree with others who say the video sound volume consistency needed work.

  • The cuts between Matt Warren and the other man was interesting because it gave two people's point of views on the questions. The topic is a very important one so it was a good choice to explore that topic through video. Overall the video was well done and interesting.

    -Harrison Grinnell

  • Denise Sinelov - Interesting and poignant subject - you used some good editing techniques, however, there's room for improvement. The "media & immigration" title intro lasted too long for a video of this length (it would've been interesting if you made the video about 45 sec but the entire video would be the "media & immigration" title with news soundbytes...maybe?). It would also be better if you hadn't made such quick cuts between the two interviewees.

  • wheres the sound?

  • The beginning dragged on a bit. I really liked the video you used of the immigrants. The interviews volume went a bit crazy. Overall pretty moving though.
