This show was from 1998 or 1999. It was at Ground Zero in Bellevue Washington. They opened for Death Cab.

  • This song is what made me fall in love with his music. Fucking amazing.

  • the amount of fucking background noise/talking during this video really bothers me. not meant to you, uploader, but more to people who go to shows and chat their heads off during a band they've never heard of that the rest of us love

  • @veganrevenge but for serious. The room sounds so good and I wish they would shut up.

  • @1000superT that was years later. the bass player, which he was sharing with the opening band, got very sick and in a pinch they bought a digital recorder and "taught" it a few songs over the next few nights.

  • This remains a truly magical song. Music for the modern man.

  • Anyone have the sheet music for this song? I'd love to get this tattooed.

  • @veganrevenge word. you know it's almost perfect cuz he is kinda singing about narcissisistic women, and they just babble about stuff no one cares about.

  • saw them the same tour in Vancouver, if memory serves they didn't have a bass player on stage, canned bass, this looks like a much better show, maybe he was busy.

  • OMG I WISH I WAS THERE!! AH, god in 99 i would have killed to see these guys plus dcfc. ahhh

  • And, moreover, Death Cab opened for Pedro at one point, and Gibbard toured briefly as PTL bassist.

  • I understand and agree to some point, but it looks like theyre in a bar setting, so for some people thats just backround noise.
