  • No not exactly, I think it would help out somewhat for reducing noise, but they real sound deadening stuff is much thicker and can come in a couple different forms the most common being mats. Dynamat is probably the most popular and you can use it to not only reduce noise, but to keep excess heat out of the cabin of the car.
