what was the point? im having a hard time tryin to see why robots would pretend to be animals, trucks and cars i can see but they do a pretty shitty job at being organic.

For this series it was... Different. Beast Wars had them hiding in prehistoric Earth as flawless animals.

This series had them back on Cybertron. They retained the animal forms they had in Beast Wars, but they became techno-organic.

It ends with Cybertron becoming a techno-organic (Complete with forests) planet...

So yes. I like how the robots look, don't get me wrong, but it got... weird.

It worked very well, to me. Beast Wars is probably my favorite of the Transformer series.

Thank you, sir, you've convinced me to buy this figure, lol. I'm one of those Optimus completists you made mention of, and couldn't decide if I wanted this or the Blast Punch Primal (since that has a little more of an accurate mold). But this thing just looks great. And as big as Masterpiece OP in robot mode? Count me in! Just wish BM Megatron would've gotten similar treatment. They couldn't pulled off something really cool with his cloak but they really fell short.

You said he is out of scale for all the beat machine toys, what about the HUUUUGE cheetor toy lol i had that one before and zomg, bad memories, sooo big and annoying, i was riding my bike with it coming home from a friends house, and i was very dumb about it, but without going into detail...i drove into a parked car O.O
