Silverchair is a fucking anomaly. The band has genuinely progressed and blurred the lines between genres as they have gotten older as people and as a band. Truly great and talented musicians. Also, obviously, Daniel Johns, just an amazing fucking song writer. What I don't get is that if people don't like the newer material...well why do they watch these videos? If you are stuck on frogstomp and freakshow, well listen to that, and go cry about other shit you don't understand instead.

@osza06 I listened to the ARIA Awards version...pretty cool. I prefer the character of his voice in this version but agree with ya! Being able to hit those notes might also depend on where the song was in their set list / how long they'd been touring for etc. Either way, both performances are freakin' amazing! Thanks for pointing out the other video.

@atalija Agreed, he sounds good here but watch the early live performances when they first started playing the song live, particularly the aria awards and rove live. he could hit the notes so much easier and cleaner in the chorus, as oppose to this video were he has to yell and falsetto the high notes ("you, view, etc"). compare them and tell me what you think
