This was part of an early filmed Web interview I gave back in my Henry Cogswell College teaching days, explaining what my book ("Animation from Pencils to Pixels ~ Classical Techniques for Digital Animators") and the film ("Endangered Species") were all about. This introduction expresses well my reasons and passions for making the film... although the quality is very poor I'm afraid. (I still feel the same way about the demise of the industry today as I did then by the way!)

Thanks for this , Tony. This is a message that needs to be heard clearly. Thank you for continuing the tradition with your films, your teaching , and your books such as The Animator's Workbook and Animation From Pencils to Pixels.
