Berkeley tree sitters supporters react on June 18th to cutting down of the rope network allowing to move among the trees in the grove without coming down to the ground.
UC Berkley planted these trees, so it is their choice. God forbid someone come and tell me I couldn't remove something I planted on my property that I OWN. Plus they are offering to plant a tree for each tree removed—which they don't even need to do. Get over it and stop flinging feces and urine at people...YUK!
These people embarrass Berkeley and discredit the name of the University in which I just recently graduated. For the first time in my life, and especially in Berkeley, I applaud and appreciate the police officer's calm in dealing with deplorable ridiculousness.
The walnut tree in our yard died and started dropping large branches into our blind, elderly nextdoor neighbor's yard so we cut it down. Then other neighbors complained because they felt it was an important bird habitat even though it was dead and rotting. Apparently it did not matter to them that it might KILL a blind man who would not even see the tree limb coming.
God forbid a sports facility should be built so people can get some healthy exercise.
thank god these idiots were taken down and the UC can start construction of their own building on their own land.

An embarrassing waste of time and money. Get the treetards down and have them use their urine and feces for more productive purposes.
