@alejandrotacoshell Go to my channel and watch my LATEST video on this, which is installing CM7 BETA 8. All of your questions *should* be answered there. FYI - You don't have to be rooted to follow the video, but you will end up with a rooted phone. Also, yes, you need clockworkmod recovery, you can find a video on installing that in my channel as well.

@minus5252 what about backing your os incase gingerbread doesnt work on it? do you have to have it rooted? and also do you have to have clockwork mod? i just bought a triumph and i dont want to mess it up :/

Now if I can just figure out how to do all this to the LG Optimus V... Thanks there seems to be a LOT of cool and easy hacks for this phone and I just got it yesterday... I am sorry but VM stock apps and roms SUCK

@BrianSimon94 No, but be sure and go to my channel and find CyanogenMod 7 BETA 8, as that is the version you want to install, this one is outdated.
