British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams set the words by American poet Walt Whitman to his music. The space video works well with it.
A short period of the video was removed to get the time below 10 minutes. I hope that doesn't spoil it for you!

  • A beautiful visualization of a Vaughan Williams choral piece. I wrote my masters thesis on the composer and I think he would have approved of this video interpretation.

  • @Starcastle2009 My only regret with this video is that the YouTube rules at that time restricted entries to 10 minutes. As a result, I had to cut out some of the quiet parts and speed up what remained, though I'm still very happy with the end result. Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Dave: BRAVO! This is breathtakingly beautiful. I enjoyed your take on what is meant by the "Unknown Region.:

  • @AMHardulak I think that Walt Whitman, whose words Vaughan Williams set for this piece, would also appreciate the take on what is meant by the "Unknown Region."

  • RVW's from Dorking! What a ledge

  • Ô JOOOOYYYYY, What a beautiful piece!
