Pepper Herding 8-22-08, Part 1

The first half of Pepper's first official lesson. Our instructor had us work mainly on switching directions. It's not as easy as it looks, and it's actually more teaching me how to communicate to Pepper, rather than teaching Pepper how to switch directions. The handler communicates through body language called pressure, so the handler has to know the dog's "pressure" area. So you'll see that I am working on figuring this out.
