  • Shame they put diecasts on a drum like that. I'd say you need to let the shell sing, not choke it with diecasts.

  • @RiPo1989 Actually the die cast hoops sound great on this drum!

  • As soon as he said it was made of a hollowed out tree trunk I thought: "the thing costs an arm and a leg." Then, he said it was aged for 15 years and then I thought: "ok, both arms, both legs, maybe even a head."

  • Shane, you should really do TAMA snares too! Why are you not?!

  • the high tuning on that snare would be great for latin/reggae.

    @mrdoitup78

    thats a dumb comment.

  • @generatrix999 Cymbal bags are for pussies. IF you don't break cymbals when playing live, then you should quit drums.

    there is no need for a cymbal bag, only a bag for the sticks you kill.

  • @DrumCoalitionWithWar

    Yep, so would I. Ironically sounds better, and, you still have money to throw around like a nigger

  • I actually hollowed out an oak tree after it was cut down. Just drilled holes around and then cut into it. Once the piece was cut, started to chisel and sand, and sand, and sand. I was pissed because it was just short of 14", that was THREE months ago, now it is TOO big to be a 14".

    Wood expands once cut, we all know that.

    I'm tired of seeing losers make drums and sell them for over $1000!!

    just use oak hardwood floors and do the Stave method, it sounds better, looks better, and, it's yours.

  • Sounds like any other wood shell to me. Nothing special for that kind of money, just bragging rights.

  • between this and the fidock blackwood fat boy, i think those are the best two snares in your shop...wow

  • "quality to the Highest Degree."
