Much, much cheaper to reload than to buy. You can also custom build ammo to the specifications of your rifle. There's several things to do to make each and every round exactly alike, that you're not going to be able to get from the store.

great vid. where might i buy a good used proggressive reloading press.. im having a hard time finging one.. that or a site where i might look... i dont have tons of money as my dad just died but id really like to get into it.. thanks again..

Only if you do a LOT of shooting. If you are the type who only shoots a few times a year then reloading is a waste of money.
the thing about reloading though, is that you'll find you DO shoot a lot more, simply because you can.

what happens when there is no catridge in the powder funnel? will it just spit out powder or will it not spit out powder because there's no casing in that station?

correct the powder drop is actuated by the case. No case, no powder :)

Well you will need to get the proper license to sell ammo, then you will need to have a liability insurance policy to cover any problems that you could have with the ammo.
As far as turning a profit, I'm sure you could. But it would take more than just cranking out ammo and selling it at the gun show etc.

If I recall correctly I paid around $1400 for it a few years ago when I bought it.

Chinh: It is much cheaper than buying new ammo. I can load roughly 1000rds of 223 for just under $170 USD. That is taking in to account having already having the once fired brass to reload. If you have to buy new brass, then it probably easier to buy new.
I shoot more than most people, so I have to be able to run down in the basement and load up a few hundred rounds for a match or whatever.
