Doh I blew my turbo, at least it wasn't my vans.

  • Yes... but you are very vague. The reason is because the turbo is oil cooled, and when it blows it destroys the oil bearings and oil spills out the exhaust thus creating smoke.

  • You may have a blown turbo but you also have a blown head gasket.

  • i agree with bootg. you said oil was spilling in the exhaust. well actually the oil get mixed into the head and gets fired off making the smoke and oil smoke is blue not white. white means headgasket most of the time :(
