NaylerThelmpalar - it does not matter what I say, it is what Jesus said that counts. But if they sign the Copenhagen Treaty next month, we are on track to see the return of Jesus very very soon.

Of course Christianity has rules, dogma etc. But do not confuse traditional conformity with what Jesus Christ specifically came to Earth to do - to save us from the effects of sin. He did not come to set up Christianity. That was set up by mankind, so has all the problems of religion.

Are you suggesting that following Jesus' teachings is somehow different to following rules?

Jesus said that we should love God with all our heart, mind and strength and love our neighbour(those around us) as ourselves. We cannot do this without His Power and Grace, because of our sinful nature. He gives us these when we accept him as Lord and Saviour. Religion brings about strife, contention,suffering, fear inadequacy and death. (look around you). Folowing Jesus however brings life, peace, joy, love and fellowship with God.
