If you look closely u will see that they trying to manipulate people with lights and fog and all sorts of stuff.....now if they took all those things out do you think the people will react the same as with the lights and fog and the back lights off. I think real Christians doesn't need those things to praise god not even for entertainment. This is not for entertaining people its about praising God how much we Love Him. :)

@Futureplanet And if there are no historical records of Jesus, then since what is written in the bible was SO amazing, and yet not a single person actually recorded it. Then we can assume it is a work of fiction, just like all the other religious books and scriptures in the history of mankind.

Note: Note a single miracle of anykind in new or old testament is not recorded ANYWHERE. It's ONLY in the bible (what a surprise........not).

@TractGildart There is absolutely history to support the following of chritianity, since as mentioned, emporer Constantine used it to group in pagen religions at the time. But yes. Sure, lets focus on Jesus and history between lets say anything BEFORE 38AD.

Show my any historical document OUTSIDE the bible, recording Jesus from before 38AD (in other words during this life so we know he was recorded and real) and I'll start believing he existed as a man at least.

Yes, without those things you can do your sincere praises and worships,

But the point is, I think their not trying to manipulate the people,

God has given us the skills and creativity and that is their gift,

yet we know our God is so creative that the beauty and creation of this world glorifies Him. In my point Hillsongs church is using their God given gift

to glorify Him. if you have read

read Psalms 33:3 or Psalms 150 or 1 Corinthians 10:31

@terihinojosa88 just simply cant take a persons word for it, people are far too primal and untrustworthy for questions of such large magnitude to put full faith into them.

@terihinojosa88 as for future, as with any aggressive person of any viewpoint, there are people who like to seek places to push their views because they are "right." i'll argue my side as best i can but i try not to look for conflict. just my opinion of which i have many ;) i dont know if i believe in jesus (as pertaining solely to his existance) but until i've seen anything that is explicitly, but cannot be explained (like water-wine, walking on water etc) i cant take the notions seriously

@terihinojosa88 personally i'm here b/c tract is a good friend of mine. i'm an atheist but i will admit to the possibility of a god. as for textual criticism, i looked a little into it and i'd have to say that "how soon the first copy is made" and "how many copies are made" argues more towards the popularity and/or pushiness of the book and its creators. and yes i will openly say its possible for nearly are historical figures from eras long gone to be false or for their deeds to be "enhanced"

@Futureplanet Bummer, it doesn't want to let me link a source. Regardless, check out the page I referenced on wikipedia, it's the page on the idea that Jesus was not who Christians claim he was/is. The scholars referenced there seem to disagree with you.

@Futureplanet (Link to wikipedia Historical Jesus) Here are people citing sources regarding a historical Jesus, who DON'T think he's God. These are not Christians, in fact they are working if anything against Christianity. But here they are saying Jesus lived.

As far as Constantine goes, you've been reading too much Dan Brown. History laughs at this idea. Or was Nero's slaughtering of Christians a myth too? Nero too, with no contemporary historians, must be a myth.
