Breath - A Sensual and Spiritual Journey

This show is easiest to take in for a Swedish audience, as the imagery follows the Swedish lyrics of the theme-song Andetag (Breath) quite closely. On the other hand, the song is so beautiful that it might be worth sharing it with a wider audience (a makeshift English translation follows below).

In the middle of the Baltic Sea lies the large island of Gotland, rich in history all the way from the Stone Age. The Viking era has left many artifacts, like the pictorial stone depicting the Volund (=Beowulf) saga, which was the source of inspiration for the featured song by the Gotish folk-group Gunnfjauns Kapell.
The lyrics combine an earthy sensuality with stark insights into the transitory nature of human life as well as entire ages and eras.
The images are from Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and the archipelago of Åland.
